How To Get Unstuck & Take Control Of Your Life

How To Get Unstuck

I’ve had several different points in my life where I’ve asked myself, “Um…is this it? Is this my life?”

I’m sure I’m not the only one.

Now, I absolutely love my life, and my home life is beyond amazing, but when it comes to work and figuring out what exactly I want to do to make money, I’ve always had a hard time deciding which direction to go in.

So there’ve been times when I’ve felt stuck. Stuck in my career, and stuck in my life.

Not knowing which direction to go in, and therefore standing completely still, not making any moves in fear of making the wrong one.

I wake up every day and I know that I want more from life than just a cubicle.

Is that such a bad thing?

And I’ve had days at work that have been so absolutely miserable, that I’ve just considered packing my bags and taking off somewhere far far away.

But I can’t, because I’ve got bills to pay.

Oh, the joys of adulthood.

And I’ve had people tell me, “That’s work. Work’s always going to suck. That’s how it is!”

There has to be a balance.

There has to be something you’re good at, something you like to do, that can also help you make money so you don’t starve and die.

Sometimes, it’s just a matter of figuring out exactly what that is.

And that’s why I’m so happy that my friend Paul Angone has put together a new online course to help us all find our “Signature Sauce” – where our passion, purpose, and careers collide.

Paul Angone’s a really smart dude. He’s the creator of All Groan Up, the author of 101 Secrets For Your Twenties and All Groan Up: Searching For Self, Faith, and a Freaking Job! and he also happens to be writing the foreword for my new upcoming book, Corporate Survival Guide For Your Twenties.

Paul’s course is designed to answer so many of our questions.

Like, why do some people live out a life of significance, impact, and meaning, and others just sit in a cubicle and hate their lives forever?

Paul’s “Signature Sauce” course will show you how to build an internal framework that gives you clarity, purpose, and strategy for creating an attainable action plan for living a significant life.
The course is jam-packed with video teachings, workbooks, real-time coaching, and hours of expert interviews with amazing authors, entrepreneurs, career coaches, job search experts, branding experts, and even a spoken word poet.

In addition to the 10 modules that the 5 week course will guide you through, you’ll also get:

  • The Signature Sauce Workbook to accompany every lesson, filled with in-depth, strategic questions that will guide you in uncovering and defining your Signature Sauce. This program is not about replicating any one particular formula for success, but about helping you create your own.
  • 10 Guided Implementation Videos where Paul walks through and breaks down each module in more depth to accompany each module teaching.

  • A bonus video on effective “relationshipping” techniques and a bonus video on how to strategically engage your dating partner or spouse in your Signature Sauce.

  • Email access to Paul personally and feedback since he wants you to kick-ass.

  • Signature Sauce career audit workbook valued at over $50.

  • Weekly coaching calls with Paul (for those who enroll at the pro or master level)

  • 1-on-1 coaching calls with Paul (master level only)

I’m so proud of Paul for putting this together! Because it’s something that we all could use! A little help in finding some clarity.

When you sign up for the course, here are the outcomes you can expect after completing it:

  • A substantial, one-of-a-kind framework that will help you make better decisions, live more intentionally, have more motivation throughout the day, push through obstacles that would’ve stopped you in the past, and possess a heightened sense of clarity and purpose.

  • Strategies on finding, or creating, a job you love.

  • A road map for living a purposeful and profitable life.

  • A defined hierarchy of soul values that drives your actions.

  • A well-articulated and persuasive personal brand that will make your social media profiles, resume, and interviews stand out.

  • The ability to transform some of the biggest obstacles and failures in your life into your most substantial opportunities.

  • Strategies on building better relationships and networks

  • A defined action plan to achieve your goals that are attainable and propelled by the best of who you are.

Paul really believes in the value of his course, so he’s  offering a 30-day money back guarantee for anyone who enrolls. No questions asked. Literally there’s no risk on your end for enrolling.

But course registration is open for this week only.

And for the first 100 people who register for the course, Paul is giving a$48 discount (from a course that’s already reasonably priced for the value he’s packed in there).

So whether you take a taste-test with his free 3-part video series “UnStuck” (which I mentioned last Friday) or whether you want to fully uncover your “Signature Sauce”, check out these amazing programs from a guy who’s been there, knows what he’s talking about, and has a passion for helping people live on purpose with purpose!

I can tell you from experience- I really have so much respect for Paul. He’s one of those guys who’s not okay living a boring life, and he’s taking action to make sure his life is so much more fulfilling.

That’s what I want for everyone here, myself included.

We get one freaking shot at this. One shot at life.

So if you want to call me a brat for wanting it to be amazing, by all means, feel free to do so.

Get unstuck and take control of your life.

Check out Paul’s courses, “Unstuck” and “Signature Sauce,” and I promise you, you won’t be disappointed.

Sometimes I feel stuck and other times not so much… these are all great tips. Even as a 30 year old mom, it still gets hard. Thanks for sharing!

I just recently heard about Paul and I don’t think it could have happened at a better time because I am with you and totally feeling STUCK in my career (or SEARCH for one) as well as my location. Do I find a job where I am or do I consider finding a job 4 hours away where my boyfriend lives, even though that’s a relatively new relationship? If I find a job here, do I find something that I’d be OK leaving if I decided I wanted to move closer to the boyfriend OR do I find a job that would pay a bit better but would mean I need to stay where I am for at least a year? Do I find a job that pays the bills but crushes my soul OR do I continue jobless for a bit longer in search for the RIGHT position? Decisions, decisions.

I need to check out Paul’s courses — he sounds like he really knows what he’s talking about.
Although I am on the right track to my dream career, I always tend to wonder if I’ll ever get there.
It’s nice to know that I’m not alone.

Great post! I really need to check this out. I always hated working for other people and had zero work ethic because of it. My dad always told me I’d never like any job because I’m “too lazy” and “don’t like to work hard”. I completely disagreed with this. I then took on blogging and have been completely in love with it. I make money from it, I work hard, and I make my own hours. It’s absolutely perfect. I love what I do and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

I love hearing your passion for living and working in a way that is more than just a job and for refusing to believe work is just work and something we have to accept. I have shared in your struggle to figure out what I want to do for work. I’m a dreamer and think up all kinds of ideas and sometimes I follow through with one or two, but find the long term dreams are the hardest for me. Recently I started a co-authored blog and our goal is to help women to not give up but instead take the next step. All the resources you shared look awesome and I will check them out.

I’m feeling kind of lost right now. I’ve got a lot of irons in the pot and I’m spreading myself way too thin. And yet, none of them are panning out in the way I’d like them to. I don’t know where to focus my energy, which is making me feel like I have less and less energy. I want to find that passion and drive again.

These sound like great courses! It’s so important to learn where we want to go in life and to learn to be accepting of what we currently have.

I’m glad you refuse to believe that work always sucks! I have friends that say the same thing and then I don’t want to brag – but I love my day to day 99% of the time! I can’t imagine having a job forever where you don’t want to get up in the mornings. What kind of life is that?
