Returning To Work After Baby | My Future Career Plans

Riley has decided that it’s nice and cozy in my uterus, so no, she’s not here yet.

Her official due date is Tuesday the 12th and the doctor won’t let her stay in longer than the 19th, so like it or not, baby girl, you’re making your grand entrance into this world pretty soon!

Anyway, a lot of people have been asking me if I’ll be returning to work after she arrives, so I’m answering that question in my latest video.

There were definitely a lot of factors Joe and Iย had to consider when making this decision.

What are our priorities?

How much money can we do without?

Do I really need to work full-time?

Similar to the questions we had to ask ourselves when I took a $10k+ pay cut a little over a year ago.

Sure, it’s a little scary.

Sure, it’s a very different career path than I ever imagined.

But atย the end of the day, everything will work out fine.

We’ll do what we need to do to keep paying our bills, but I’m really excited that my life’s gunna look a whole lot different really soon.

Have any of you guys been though something similar? For those of you with kiddos, did you return to work right away? End up staying home? Any advice for a stay-at-home/working momma?

Went back to work full-time after 8 weeks. The hardest thing I’ve ever done and would love to work from home full time or go part time in the near future. Best of luck!
