Joe and I have been married almost a year now, and yea…it’s definitely been the best year of my life. I know, super corny, but I don’t care! I love married life and I wouldn’t change it for a thing. That’s not to say that we haven’t had challenges, though. He works full time and travels a lot, and between my full-time job, my blog, my book, speaking engagements and all the other projects I’m working on, we hardly ever get uninterrupted time together. But hello!!! We’re a young couple, and we need to spend time together, so we’ve made it a habit to schedule a few day dates/date nights a month where we do something different and fun!
A few weekends ago we did just that, and we had an amazing day volunteering at our local YMCA. Joe and I have been wanting to find a good cause that we can contribute to, so when we found out that they needed volunteers for an arts & crafts program for special needs kids, Joe and I decided to help out! Such a rewarding experience.
After that, we treated ourselves to some sushi because I had a serious craving and ughhhh it was delicious!
It really turned out to be a great day. I got to spend time with my hubby, and we got to do something really meaningful together. We got to give back to those in need, instead of sitting on our butts watching Netflix like every other weekend, and it was nice to participate in something like that together.
But you know what? It wouldn’t have been such a good day if it hadn’t taken some Excedrin® Migraine that morning.
I’m not sure if I’ve shared this on the blog before, but I suffer from really bad migraines. And when they kick in, I basically feel like I’m going blind. I see shiny lights all around, I lose all my peripheral vision, and my arms and fingers start tingling. AKA, it’s not fun!
They’ve been so bad before that I’ve wound up in the Emergency Room because it’s felt like daggers were stabbing me in the brain, a feeling I don’t wish on anyone. But the point is, they’re completely debilitating, and totally capable of ruining any great plans of yours.
So since I know better now, I keep my Excedrin® Migraine in my purse at all times**. I’ve got way too much to do to have a migraine ruin my day and especially these dates I look forward to with Joe.
So getting back to my story, that day when I woke up, I could already feel a migraine kicking in, and I was NOT having it! I immediately took some Excedrin® Migraine and within 30 minutes*, I stared feeling better. Nothing helps my migraines faster than this stuff, so I stock up on bottles to always have them handy. But if you’re thinking about keeping some in your medicine cabinet, just be sure to only use the product as directed.
These Excedrin® products deliver fast relief for different types of headaches, and truth is, each kind of headache demands a different headache solution – hence me having all of them***!
After Excedrin® Migraine, I use Excedrin® Extra Strength most frequently just because the Extra Strength variety tends to kick in for some in just 15 minutes. Super fast relief makes me a happy camper!
Because when I feel good, I can DO good, and that’s something I’m really looking forward to. Over the next couple of weeks, Joe and I are going to be planning some feel-good dates so we can spend some time together while helping out others.
And since I’d love to get you guys thinking about planning your own feel-good dates, I’ve put together a list for you, to help get you started. Print it out, and start crossing them off! Feel good, do good, and always keep Excedrin® handy to make sure you enjoy those meaningful moments!
Head on over to your local Walmart for all your headache needs.
